Smart Financial Operations Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Orlando, FL Full Time

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced retail, pawn, or big box professional to join our retail pawn shop HR team! This position will work closely with the regionally based HRBP’s and operations to secure top talent for our store locations. Ideally located in Orlando FL, St. Louis MO, Phoenix AZ, Charlotte NC, or Austin TX; this remote position offers up to 50% travel within North America.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is hands on position responsible strategically and proactively sourcing passive and active candidates to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs. This active role within the HR team covers all north American regions of 90+ store locations in multiple time zones.

Measures of Success:

• Consistently exceeds expectations for sourcing and acquiring top talent in and outside the industry.
• Maximizes ATS functionality and sourcing methods.
• Meets or exceeds all staffing KPI’s including but not limited to active response rates, time to hire, time to fill, onboarding and retention metrics.
• Emulates the Vision, Purpose, and Values of the company.

Role and Responsibilities

• Understands external labor market conditions in each region and executes talent sourcing accordingly.
• Leverages effective, economical, and appropriate sources/channels and methods of finding top talent.
• Partners with HRBP to manage ATS and external job board relationships.
• Executes pro-active talent sourcing events to prepare for future change.
• Partners with HRBP and Operational Leadership to administer larger hiring events such as open interviews, job fairs, virtual job sourcing events, advertising, and promotion.
• Builds and maintains relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies schools, and associations.
• Reviews resumes and contacts candidates to ascertain fit and interest and refers to hiring managers as appropriate.
• Extends offers and implements compensation consistent with compensation plan design.

• May participate in onboarding and facilitate new employee orientation.
• Work with operations and business analytics to monitor new hire progress and development.

Education and experience requirements

• Advanced knowledge of ATS, talent analytics, sourcing methods and practice and regulations.
• Proven history of building collaborative relationships with business partners while maintaining assertive presence when needed and appropriate.
• Proven ability to handle confidential matters with care and discretion.
• Excellent internal customer-service mindset and execution.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple obligations and prioritize while working independently with limited supervision.
• History of applying solution and strategic oriented streamlining of processes and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal communications, written, verbal and presentation skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, business, organizational development, human resources, or related field.
• Desire and ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred

• Experience in the pawn, retail and / or financial services industry or similar.
