About the role
We are currently seeking an Operations Accountant on a full-time basis to support our growing number of venues.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Support the Operations Finance Manager and corporate accountant to manage and report on operational expenditure, budget, P&L, month-end, and BAS.
• Recommend cost, labor, payroll, and budget improvements in a restaurant.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting operational expenditure for each venue and prepare cash flow.

• Business partner with vendors & suppliers leadership.

• Assist with the preparation and calculation of KPIs

• Uphold and report values in each activity and interaction

• Other ad-hoc duties are given by the head office team

About your experience
Candidates will have prior experience working in operational accounting or accounts officers in an FMCG or hospitality industry. Candidates will also display:

• Intermediate knowledge of systems like Zudello, Xero, deputy, Myob, Abacus, and advanced Excel
• Degree qualified in Finance/Accounting or other relevant disciplines
• Ability to communicate as an effective business partner with site and head office personnel
• Able to travel to visit our Venues on a regular basis.

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a national police check, credit, and bankruptcy check.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
