The Digital & Direct Sales Manager will be responsible for driving and generating net new revenue and supporting the Digital & Direct Sales Department in achieving its sales targets. This individual will continuously develop and bring to fruition B2B/B2C opportunities across sales channels. To meet this objective, the successful candidate will be required to develop and maintain multi-level customer relationships.

A particular emphasis will be placed on the execution of effective sales strategies and tactics to acquire new business. Success in this role will be measured on revenue goal attainment and overall sales demand creation through a set of KPI targets. This unique position involves both outside and inside sales and is based at our head office in Vancouver, B.C. The Digital & Direct Sales Manager manages a sales representative and reports to the Director of Digital & Direct Sales.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Lead development and execution of the B2B and B2C acquisition strategies. • Grow sales volume and brand penetration in designated areas by developing new business through cold calls, introductions, and networking. • Develop and implement a sales plan for existing key accounts based on established revenue goals and the department’s objectives and key results. • Achieve KPI targets on sales volume by channel; new lead wins; upsell/cross-sell rates between sales channels.

• Experiment with new tactics and technologies to increase funnel generation. • Cultivate sales-driven culture by creating sales scripts/training modules with upselling/cross-selling/cold calling techniques and ensure the Customer Care Team is knowledgeable of the company’s strategic sales initiatives and how to utilize all available systems, tools, and tactics to support these campaigns. • Continuously develop personal leadership, coach, and mentor sales representatives. • Work closely with the Digital & Direct Sales, Customer Care, Marketing, Product, Fulfillment, and Finance teams to deliver an unparalleled customer experience.
• Analyze sales data to identify potential process gaps and develop a plan to fulfill them. • Create demand forecasts by region and sales channel and provide monthly and quarterly sales updates to the Leadership Team • Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library, ensuring that processes are documented and kept up-to-date and that Team-members are aware of best practice • Attend industry events and network to open up sales opportunities. The successful candidate should have: • Minimum two years of account management or sales experience • Ability to identify opportunities and close sales • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills with a solution-oriented approach to working with prospects and customers • Leadership experience and a desire to motivate and coach others • Strong customer service skills in retail, B2B or B2C • Self-motivated, independent and driven to succeed • Forward-thinking and solution-oriented • Experience with interpreting sales reports and analyzing data • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work in a busy environment, meet deadlines and be adaptable to change • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Proficient with using modern CRM to create efficiencies, track lead opportunities, and maintain contacts. • Amount of travel – up to 15% The Purdys difference is that we truly recognize the value of our people.
