Job Responsibility:
Plan, develop, organize, implement directs and evaluate the Company’s fiscal functions from every relevant perspective.
Enhances and/or develops, implements and enforces policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Company.
Manages and supervises financial accounting, tax and compliance departments located in multiple geographies with overall responsibility for hiring, training, promoting, disciplining, or terminating employees in Finance department
Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and information reports
Provides timely, accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports to assist the CEO and other executives with their responsibilities.
Assist the management with analysis and controlling of the company’s costs and expenses, provide accurate and quantitative analysis and suggestion.
Oversee completion of timely annual audited financial statements.
Manage treasury, finance, accounting and compliance functions with the necessary processes and internal controls to safeguard the corporate assets.
Overseeing financial systems implementations and upgrades
Manages budgeting and long-term financial planning process.
Continually improves the timeliness and accuracy of the Company’s cash flow and management of the billing and collections process and month end, quarterly and year end closings
Develops reliable global cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs of the Company.
Ensures compliance with all tax reporting requirements and tax regulations.
Coordinates with appropriate legal counsel relating to financial and corporate governance compliance and risk assessment matters.
Develops and advises on business development and strategic planning.
Manager the relationship between the company and suppliers, vendors, banks, and other organizations.
Recommend and manage Company relationship with outside financial consultants.
Performs other financial-related duties as required.
Travelling is required from time to time within Canada and to US.
Skills and Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
at least 15 years of applicable business experience of which 10 must be in a financial leadership role.
Manufacturing experience is preferred .
In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, and numeracy
Knowledge of Canada and US accounting principles, taxation regulations, and other related regulation and laws in Account and Finance
Exceptional ability to monitor, allocate, and control finances on a large scale
excellent problem-solving attitude and abilities
Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Excellent presentation preparation and delivery skills.
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets
