Anakeesta Hiring for Senior Talent Acquisition Manager Job at Gatlinburg, TN Full Time

The Talent Acquisition Manager is the face of Anakeesta’s employee culture. Making sure that all recruiting efforts not only are strategic in generating strong candidates for the open positions, but also utilizing the job descriptions, collateral and communication to convey Anakeesta’s focus on Safety, team work and employee engagement. This position oversees the recruiting process from beginning to onboarding.

Retention and reinforcing company culture starts in the recruiting process.

This position reports directly to VP of Operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position does not currently have any direct reports. With Park growth, seasonal and eventually full-time recruiting coordinators are in the organization structure planning. These positions would report directly to the Recruiting Manager.
• Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Coordinators would have a level of reporting responsibility to this position, for the interview, hire, and job filled aspect of the recruiting process.
• Dotted line to all department heads for collaboration and communication,
• Plans focus on engagement and critical skills associated with positions

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Recruiting
• Utilizes annual staffing plans to create recruiting strategies and timelines
• Works with outside recruiting resources such as, but not limited to:
• Search engines like Indeed and Zip Recruiter, working with the systems to keep jobs up to date, monitor applicant traffic and re-asses as needed
• Identifying and utilizing niche systems like IAAPA, SAM, CoolWorks, and others to find candidates that are more unique skillsets
• Use LinkedIn for higher level and professional sourcing and job postings
• Help with LinkedIn page to make sure that the Anakeesta page is active and reflective of our values, growth, and unique brand

• Monitor these systems monthly/quarterly to see what the reviews/feedback are trending toward.
• Communicate concerns and suggestions for adjustments to improve. Making sure that the accurate reputation/culture of a company is reflected to candidates is paramount.

• Utilize current and identify new local partnerships and resources

• J1 and H2B program partnerships
• Work with the various J1 and H2B (if possible) partners to convey accurate annual needs as determined through conversations with departments and operational executives
• Coordinate with HR Manager and Coordinators to develop/communicate to operational executives and department leadership, what they should expect and what will be expected of them for these programs.
• Act as the primary point of contact with these program coordinators

• Communicate trends in compensation, titles, responsibilities, and any other applicable areas that are continuing evolving with our competitors to keep Anakeesta’s employment packages/practices and expectations in line.
• Monitor the HR Manager and Coordintors’ involvement in the coordination of applicants with the departments and provide feedback and suggestions for ways to improve the process.
• Communicate any concerns and provide recommendations, if possible, when there are departments, hiring managers, or positions that are not meeting expectations for communication, follow up, and engagement.
• Tracking and reporting
• Work with operational executives to create and manage a process that quickly conveys to the recruiter what jobs are open when there is turnover, and when jobs are filled.
• Utilize applicant tracking system
• Provide suggestions for other tools or systems that would make the recruiting process more streamline and provide better clarity across the park

• Review and manage recruiting budget in conjunction with Finance and Accounting and operational executives

• Job Descriptions
• Review and update
• Write and submit to department heads and VP of Operations when there are new positions added
• Work with HR and operational executives to ensure that there are rate ranges for all positions that are competative

• Partner with Marketing to ensure that all materials and communication are “on brand” and consistent with Anakeesta’s mission.
• Other duties as identified and assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at a time
