Summary:

Administers all steps of the recruitment process including internal and external job postings, managing incoming job applications, scheduling of interviews, completion of reference checks, onboarding, and new hire orientation. Analyzes effectiveness of recruitment strategies and suggests improvements.

Essential Job Functions:

• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on industry standards and the needs of the Company.
• While partnering with hiring managers, the recruiter will understand business and staffing requirements, provide market analysis, direct & influence recruitment process, develop local sourcing strategies, and measure and monitor the quality & cycle time in the execution of the recruiting process.
• Manage the recruitment process for all departments within the Company and fills positions in a timely manner including posting of open positions, placing job advertisements, prescreening of applicants, and the scheduling and performing of candidate interviews.
• Maintain communication with candidates and the hiring managers during all steps of the recruitment process.
• Perform onboarding activities including required background checks, drug tests, DOT physicals and references.
• Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation.
• Enter and maintain new hire information in the HRIS.
• Track recruiting data, including KPIs, and present to hiring managers and leadership on a regular basis.
• Attend job fairs and recruiting events; professionally represent the Company within the community.
• Train and counsel hiring managers on proper interviewing skills and legal regulations surrounding recruitment.
• Verify the completion of all interview materials including interview materials, candidate assessment forms and ranking sheets.
• Provide administrative support in the preparation of correspondence, reports, schedules, and confidential materials as assigned.
• Participate as a member of the Recruitment and Retention Committee.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of company events.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state and employment laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Remain current of information related to Human Resources, industry knowledge, technology, and communication tools.
• Promote and maintain a high level of confidentiality of all information managed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
• High volume recruiting experience preferred
