About the role

The Finance and Accounting Officers main responsibility is the accounts payable function for SV, including the processing of purchase orders, invoice entry, managing payment cycles and coordinating payment authorisation to ensure the timely payment of suppliers. The role will also be responsible for the monthly reconciliation of creditor accounts.

This position will assist with the month end process including the maintenance of the fixed asset register, prepayment schedule and general ledger reconciliations while providing support to the Team Leader and wider finance team across a variety of reporting and administrative matters.

About you

A strong customer service focus is required and the ability to provide operational support and quality advice to a broad range of staff from non-finance related backgrounds.

The Finance and Accounting Officer will be the back-up for the Financial Accountant when they are on leave.

A demonstrated ability to multi-task while being resilient and adaptable to the demands of a fast-paced agile work environment is essential.
