We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. Accounting Assistant responsibilities include: Accounts Payable/Receivable, HR & Payroll, Expense Tracking

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
  • Process reimbursement forms
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Enter financial transactions into QuickBooks
  • Check spreadsheets for accuracy
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Participate and/or complete quarterly and annual audits
  • Assist with payroll, human resources, and payroll tax reporting

Skills

  • Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
  • Familiarity with finance regulations
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Practical experience with MS Excel and QuickBooks
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive, confidential information in a professional manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
