The main function of the Retail Accounting Executive role is to support accounting/retail operations, to ensure accurate and reliable accounting records, and support external and internal reporting relating to the Australian and New Zealand PUMA businesses.

• Processing of daily retail banking and the completion of all retail stores’ bank reconciliations (including E-Commerce).
• Reconciliation of the tender banked for physical stores and E-commerce.
• Supporting the retail network, this includes organizing EFTPOS machines and associated merchant services, support with banking, organizing stores’ insurance certificates, sales cert audit, assessing the frequency of the cash deposit collection, arranging bank guarantees, cash audits and administration of leases.
• Assisting the Finance Manager Retail with the preparation and posting of accounting journals related to PUMA operated retail stores (including E-commerce).
• Providing backup for the Finance Manager Retail with financial accounting tasks and monthly reporting.
• Other tasks include supporting on external and internal audits, processing store stocktakes, assisting in process improvements and documentation of processes and assisting with system implementation
