About the Role
YMCA Victoria are currently recruiting for part time or casual Educators within the Hazelwood North & Traralgon region.
The role will assist the service Coordinator in providing positive development for the children in a safe, engaging environment. You will need to be a team player and help build relationships with the school community and support children’s learning in line with the National Quality Framework.
You will work alongside the Coordinator and be supported by the OSHC Management team to build community and family engagement, with children at the heart of our service philosophy.

About You
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Educators committed to delivering a superior service for children and their parents. You will:

• Demonstrate motivation and commitment to perform at your best
• Maintain and support a strong customer and family focus, and ensure a positive service experience for both children and their parent/guardians
• Have the ability to positively network and build effective working relationships with stakeholders
• Have demonstrated knowledge, skills and understanding of the National Quality Framework, Victorian Early Years Framework, the Education and Care National Regulations and Act and My Time Our Place

Qualifications
Mandatory Pre-Requisite Qualifications

• Be working towards or hold a child related qualification: Early Childhood, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Outdoor Education, Human Movement, Youth and Community Services etc or hold a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s services or Outside School Hours Care.
• First Aid Level 2
• Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
• Equivalent experience
