Confidential Hiring for Chief Financial Officer Job at Durham, NC Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer that is extremely well versed in aggressive high growth organizations that are tuned to acquire other organizations, integrate thoughtfully and efficiently and manage all aspects related to those transactions and financing. We have a solid, proven and effective team already in place on legal, operations, and technology – we need the finance operations in place to give us the appropriate scale and velocity.

We are publicly traded, so managing all aspects of SEC Reporting is also a mandatory requirement, in addition to managing all audit functions with the externals, partnering with legal on document prep, drafting and delivery and project management as appropriate.

Your team will be expected to deliver on the reporting activities as a core function and BAU, leveraging existing resources, teams and externals as required.

Effectiveness in fund raising, proper cap table management and management of all functions of equity allocations and releases including several different classes of shares is required. As is managing options, RSU, RSA and tax treatments. Employee and preferred vendor management as required as well.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command. Effective, accurate and appropriate measurements for the business need to be communicated and reevaluated continuously, and work with sales, marketing and bizdev as required. International sales, partnerships and reseller relationships and other jurisdictional requirements will also be needed

Responsibilities

• Drive the company’s financial planning
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Manage all equity functions, fundraise and manage all functions of debt and cash

• Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
• Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, clerks, etc.)
• Manage vendor relationships
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies

Skills

• Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
• In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
• CPA is required
• SEC reporting, documentation and Audit management is required
• High growth organizational management required

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $400,000.00 per year
