Sandpoint Marine and Motorsports Hiring for F&I Clerk Job at Ponderay, ID Full Time

This is a commission based position.

The F&I Clerk assists the customer, in securing proper funds for purchasing Motorsports and/or Boats for the dealership, as well as producing additional revenue by recommending products and benefits to the customer. This person will be responsible for communicating with customers, financial institutions, and all other departments within the dealership. Must be friendly, prompt, able to communicate well between staff and customers. Must have the ability to multi-task and enjoy an energetic and fast paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals
• Complete all sales-related paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Accurately communicate sales contract information to ensure that the customer understands it
• Ability to understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the vehicle finance department
• Ability to understand all aspects of Finance, Maintenance Programs, Extended Service Agreements, Gap and theft insurance policies.
• Properly prepare all documents regarding the sale
• Sign all documents with the customer
• Maintain acceptable turn around to accounting
• Process all deals to accounting for payroll cut-offs and month-end
• Must have strong computer skills
• Ability to work independently

• Prior experience processing personal loans a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
