Blueprint Recruitment are excited to be working with a progressive engineering consultancy, based in Essex. Our client operates within a multitude of sectors, including engineering, architecture, design and Planning Services and would be an ideal company for someone looking to progress to the next stage of their career.

This role is suitable for a Senior, Principal or Associate Structural Engineer looking to make an impact within an ambitious company. Working closely with the Engineering Director, this position will involve leading and growing a new team by directing future workload and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements of the role include:

• Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Chartered or near Chartered status with IstructE/ICE
• Proven experience of working with British Standards
• Possessing exceptional planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to deliver complex and technical information to engineers and non-engineers alike.
• Experience of mentoring junior engineers is ideal
