Role
Express Solicitors is offering a 9-12-month employment opportunity for HR or Business students on a sandwich placement, to work with our professional and well-established Human Resource team. Ideally, we are looking for a June start date.
You will join a team of 10 and will be reporting directly to the HR Partner and the HR Manager. Who will be there to help provide you with full training and guidance while you settle into your new role.
This role will be supporting both the wider HR Team and the Recruitment Team, meaning that no two days will be the same as you get involved in a variety of smaller tasks and larger projects.
We operate a collaborative approach to developing and improving systems and processes, actively encourage creativity, solution-based thinking and problem-solving. We are keen for this role to bring their own fresh perspective and ideas.

Salary, Hours & Benefits
The salary for the HR & Recruitment Trainee is based on National Minimum Wage
Our standard working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30 am to 5 pm Friday. We can offer some flexibility around these times.
Excellent training & development – we provide on the job training
23 days holiday, we reserve three of these days to be used for the closure of the business during Christmas and New Year, plus bank/public holidays.
Death in Service – 2 x salary based on annual salary only – eligibility commences when you join the company
We have a fairly young workforce, which is socially active. There are a number of activities to get involved with, e.g. Netball / Football teams, 10km Manchester team and more.
Active training culture and various groups and events such as Diversity & Inclusion group, Mental Health Week & other charitable events.
