Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Purpose:

Using “Best Financial Practices”, manage all finance, accounting and human resource functions providing information primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management, its shareholders and other users in making sound decisions about the company’s future.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Custodial owner of the corporate accounting and financial records and all accounting functions ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timely dissemination of financial reporting.
• Responsible for Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Analysis
• Cash management, senior lender compliance and covenant requirements. Manage commercial banking relationships as they apply to operating cash, investments, fees, credit cards and loans.
• Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, inventory, fixed asset records, general ledger, cost analysis and departmental accounting.
• Provide financial tools to evaluate company ventures and special projects, programs, capital investments, and product costing.
• Work closely and interface with outside advisors in the areas of financial and legal corporate management and the development and economic evaluation of fringe benefit programs for employees. This includes Third Party Administrators for the 401(k) and ESOP, corporate valuation companies, investment advisors.
• Risk management and interface with insurance representatives for benefits and corporate casualty/liability insurance.
• Manage credit extension for our customers and credit insurance relationship with Atradius.
• Management of external review and audit requirements for validation and certification of financial statements.
• Manage State and Corporate tax requirements for the company
• Work with Legal Counsel to manage legal and human resource related issues.

Specialized Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• MBA preferred not mandatory
• 10 years of progressive Accounting Management experience
• High level experience with accounting software programs and Excel software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
