Senior Traffic Engineer.

I am recruiting for a Senior Traffic Engineer based in Bradford on an initial 3-month contract. The Senior Engineer will be involved in Traffic feasibility and investigations, scheme promotion and detailed design. TRO process. TSRGD, Public and other stakeholder engagement including elected members. AutoCAD. Active Travel programme
 
The main duties of the role are to
1.Carry out feasibility and concept studies, public engagement and consultation, design, inspections, assessments, procurement, construction supervision and project management on a variety of highway, structural, casualty reduction, traffic management, traffic signal and UTC, integrated transport, public transport and civil engineering projects for programmes undertaken by the service on behalf of internal and external clients.
2.To support and advise internal and external stakeholders and to support the Principal Engineer in the performance of functions associated with the servicing of client and other committees, neighbourhood forums and public engagement events.
3.Initiate, develop and promote Local Transport Plan and Community Strategy projects.
