Civils Site Supervisor

Wakefield / Leeds

Long term contract

£300 per day, UMBRELLA rate

Are you an experienced Civils Site Supervisor who can apply their skills when on site but also hold their own in the office on the production of WPP, planning and any safety briefs?

The purpose of this role is to support the site PM and CRE in the guidance of less experienced Engineers on technical activities for allocated projects and to ensure the timely delivery to client specifications.

This is a major project which will offer you longevity and progression along with the benefits of contract rates.

The Role:

• Support the CRE on leading and managing all Civils engineering activities for their team
• Planning and implementing Civil engineering activities
• Monitoring and improving / developing engineering competence of the team
• Assisting the CRE with engineering initiatives
• Assisting the Competence Manager with engineering competence assessments
• Support the CRE in creating or reviewing all necessary engineering site documentation (programmes, WPP, TBs etc.)
• Support the CRE to Ensure ongoing health and safety file is being completed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Satisfy requirements of PTS medical.
• HNC (or equivalent) engineering qualification
• Site setting out skills
• PTS

• Civils’ construction experience on large projects
• Knowledge and understanding of Network Rail CIVILS standards
• Valid UK driving license

This position requires an energetic, self-managed individual who can lead a team and has the technical knowledge to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and requirements.
