StepChange Debt Charity Hiring for HR Coordinator at Leeds Full Time

We have a very exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join our HR Shared Services Team. Witihn this role you will play a key part in providing administrative support to both the wider Charity and the People & Culture Directorate, this is inclusive of Recruitment and Payroll Services, in a timely and accurate way

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, plans and prioritises their own workload effectively. Ensuring a fair distribution/allocation of workload, adherence to agreed SLA’s and maintaining high standards in all aspects of the role. Being part of building effective and collaborative relationships with our customers, to ensure high customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing

Effectively managing various HR inboxes and ensuring all tasks are completed to the required service level and standards.

Accurate input and processing of new starter, employee change and leaver forms into the HR Information System and communicated to payroll.

Managing the personnel records, ensuring all are kept up to date and comply with the relevant data protection laws and regulation.

Completing reference requests (former colleagues, landlord, mortgage etc.)

Responsible for the administrative tasks associated with our benefits offering (Westfield, Vitality at Work, CCV, Length of Service awards, Iain Kendall award).

Responsible for carrying out quarterly ‘Right of Abode’ / Visa checks and ensuring the HR advisors are aware of any upcoming expiry dates.

Administering Cifas and DBS checks on individuals that are required to undergo these.
