University of Sussex Hiring for Academic Skills Consultant Job at Brighton, England Full Time

The University of Sussex is looking to appoint a creative and motivated teacher to join our Academic Skills team. The role involves design and delivery of academic skills workshops, material and programmes for the University.

You will play a key role in shaping the on-going development of the University’s academic skills education for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, interfacing with colleagues in other Professional Services and Schools to coordinate provision. The ideal candidate will have experience of designing and delivering teaching resources and workshops. It is not essential that you have taught academic skills, though this is desirable.

Working with colleagues in your team you will keep ahead of emerging developments in the field and provide pedagogic and practical advice and support to academic staff in embedding skills in teaching and learning at Sussex. A can-do, professional attitude and excellent interpersonal skills will be essential.
