We are recruiting a Director- Revenue Accounting in Visa Europe’s Revenue Accounting team to lead a section of Client Incentive Operations. Revenue Accounting at Visa Europe is made up of Client Incentive Operations, Revenue Operations and Global Operating Certificates
This is a leader in Visa Europe’s Revenue team responsible for contra revenue accounting and other projects. The team is part of the broader Global Controllership function within Global Finance. The role reports to the Senior Director- Revenue in London
The Client Incentive Operations team is responsible for managing Client Incentive agreements. The team reviews the contracts to determine the right accounting treatment of the incentives in accordance with US GAAP and ensure compliance with contractual terms on executed Client Agreements. This includes checks on performance conditions and reviewing any contingent liability clauses. The team manages all lifecycle events associated with executed contracts such as building financial models to calculate incentive accruals, performing quarterly true ups, processing payments and contract renewal. The process is highly complex and requires significant interactions with other teams such as Deals, Client Incentive Market Specialists and Account Executives.
In addition to leading accounting and operational responsibilities, we are currently making significant investments in our backoffice processes. The individual will drive projects, drive thought leadership, develop best practices and ensure that our processes are aligned globally.
