This position resides within the PCBA Process Development Group. The group’s primary responsibilities are to support ongoing change management and manufacturing shop floor activities within PCBA production. This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our procedures, work instructions and product through consulting with technical owners and shop floor personnel, scheduled audits, and quality data metrics. Attention to detail, ability to work with others and a broad manufacturing process knowledge are key assets for this role.

What the job is all about:
The right candidate has a background in electronics manufacturing with 5 years preferred experience. This includes experience in developing and maintaining PCBA manufacturing processes, with an ability to manage process implementation projects, including the review and the acquisition of capital assets. Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with an understanding of auditing on BOM’s, work instruction for completeness and accuracy. Comfortable in sharing knowledge to facilitate training to employees on new processes, both in a classroom and manufacturing environment setting. This role requires collaboration and continuous engagement with our R&D and NPI teams to ensure PCBA manufacturing processes are developed for future production needs. Who you are:
You have an ability to work independently or can be part of a team, collaborating with technical and non-technical staff in an organised way. Your work ethic presents persistently with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. You have solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Confident in making decisions based on the Company’s best interest are essential elements in this role. Your collaboration with all types of stakeholders, from functional areas as well as different levels of management are key factors in your role. The right candidate possess a Post-secondary education in electronics or has electronics manufacturing experience and some background in quality and understand the corrective action process. An advanced level of knowledge with standard office tools (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and Microsoft Project is preferred.
Bonus points if you have the following:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an electronics-manufacturing environment that includes exposure to manufacturing processes and procedures with a technical background is a solid asset. Prior experience programming SMT, MES and related software.
