About the role:

As a Graduate Accountant you will be exposed to all areas of Finance within the organisation and transform your education, knowledge and skills into practical experience. As an integral member of the Corporate Strategy & Finance Team you will assist with providing timely and accurate financial information to the organisation with a mindset of continual improvement.

This opportunity will see you rotate through the finance functions of Financial Accounting, Compliance & Taxation, Payroll, Procurement, Business Performance, Budgeting & Reporting, Data & Systems Analytics, Strategy & Capital Investments (Mergers & Acquisitions) across our key Business Streams of Residential Services and Retirement Living, At Home, Community Services and Housing and Support Services.

What you will bring to the role:

• An under graduate degree in Business majoring in Accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and build key relationships
• Willingness to take an active responsibility in achieving the team’s objectives
• An understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and ability promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
