An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join the Octopus Fund Management Reporting and Control team, within the Octopus Real Estate (ORE) division to oversee financial reporting and control across ORE’s property lending business. This area of the business manages over £1.9bn across 11 retail and institutional products, with further products expected to launch within the next 12 – 18 months.
The Finance Manager will report directly to the ORE Financial Controller and be responsible for managing a team of four qualified and part-qualified accountants to ensure the accurate and timely production of all financial and regulatory reporting across the property lending business. You will have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the products, their portfolios, and their regulatory and accounting requirements, using this knowledge to provide insightful information to internal and external stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the launch of new products from the outset and to shape their reporting processes.
