Axiom Group Inc Hiring for Testing/Engineering Technician at Aurora, ON Full Time

Where does the Testing/Engineering Technician fit in?

The Technician will support with Design Validation and Verification Testing, Drawing Creation and Modification, Data Exchange Management, CAD, and Test Quotations.

As the Technician you will work with product design to assist in performing tasks mainly related to customer design verification planning, reporting, preparation and execution of validation testing, and scheduling test timelines. From time to time, they may be tasked with drawing modifications, data exchange activities, and working with the quotations department on costing exercises involving upcoming customer projects.

What you can expect as our next Testing/Engineering Technician:

Assist with Design Validation and Verification testing via specification interpretation, execution of in-house testing, coordination and management of third-party labs

Generation and formatting of test reports

Perform third-party laboratory audits

Operation and maintenance of laboratory test equipment

Participate in root cause analysis for part failures

Creation and modification of internal part CAD and/or drawings.

Perform costing exercises on future projects with the quotations department.

Managing data exchange through customer specific data exchange systems (Teamcenter, Rocket, KVS, FTP, Brose MATS)

Other relevant tasks as required

Do you have what it takes to be our next Testing/Engineering Technician?

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent/related work experience

Must have solid understanding of GD&T

Must have knowledge in CAD Software, primarily CATIA and Siemens NX

Training in Teamcenter and/or KVS would be an asset

Experience in the Automotive industry is an asset!

Mechanically inclined and good aptitude, highly focused and driven to learn
