• HEW 7 – $90,899 to $98,241 p.a. plus up to 17% superannuation

About the role

The Finance directorate is an integral part of the business strategy and decision-making process focusing efforts in delivering strategic and operational support to the programs and services.

Finance Partner is responsible for creating a trusted partnership between finance and business units. This role will assist disseminating, coordinating, and presenting information to responsible officers across the university to allow informed decision making.

About you

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will have demonstrated business partnering skills, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders through highly developed communication skills. You will have strong analytical and quantitative abilities accompanied by experience in financial administration including the development and monitoring of budgets and implementation of effective systems and processes

You will:

• perform and co-ordinate a range of financial management activities;
• provide specialist advice and support to clients;
• prepare accruals and accounting journals to accurately report business profitability;
• contribute towards the monthly management reporting information for the business areas; and
• prepare the annual budget and high-level summaries for allocated business groups.
