AO North America Hiring for Instructional Designer Job at Remote Full Time

AO North America, Inc. has a primary office in Wayne, PA-close to Philadelphia. On occasion, you will be invited to this office for employee retreats, and other occasions. There are also times you will be invited to go to course-site which takes place in different areas of North America. Otherwise, you will be able to work from home.

As the Instructional Designer, you will become a valuable member of the Education/Learning Team. You will transfer principles, concepts and best practices of learning and instruction for designing and developing materials and activities. Re-design existing content and develop new content by analyzing the problem, designing to specific needs, developing courseware, implementing the solution, and performing evaluations throughout the process.

Typical duties include:

• Developing storyboard and reshape content and assessment for digital purposes
• Aligning and controlling content production processes with different teams and optimize workflows
• Interacting with subject matter experts and the team, to effectively provide different perspectives, provide recommendations and share expertise
• Developing subject-matter understanding through materials provided and perform individual research/collaboration with course/content stakeholders
• Communicating processes and procedures to faculty as they begin to leverage instructional technologies within curriculum
• Author and edit content using different instructional design and authoring tools
• Monitoring progress on courses and managing to deadlines; ensuring each one of them is of the highest quality
• Receiving and applying constructive feedback
• Presenting, sharing, and disseminating work done at AO NA to engage the community

You will need to have:

• BA or BS or equivalent in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Distance Learning, or Human Performance Technology
• Minimum of five years’ experience in an educational, corporate training, or professional services environment, with experience developing and using e-learning and multimedia technologies.
• Experience in the design, development, and evaluation of course materials for classroom and e-Learning environments
• Experience in adult learning theory and learner-centered pedagogy

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
