Akeso Medical Holdings, LLC Hiring for Accounting Manager Job at Irvine, CA Full Time

We are looking for a collaborative and process driven individual to join our growing company here at Akeso Medical Holdings. The Accounting Manager will be involved in all aspects of accounting, business analysis, and financial reporting. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Manager will lead the accounting close and oversee all accounting and financial reporting processes including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/revenue recognition, accounts payable, weekly KPI reporting, and month-end and quarterly board deck preparation. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for monthly and quarterly management reporting and lead our annual financial statement audit. The individual must be willing to “roll-up” sleeves in a dynamic growing environment via de novo and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

· Document and oversees accounting procedures, processes, and internal controls (implementing, monitoring, enhancing)

· Maintains daily/weekly bank reconciliations for all affiliated companies

· Maintains fixed asset system of all property and equipment and reconcile depreciation and fixed asset balances with the general ledger

· Manages accounts receivable and record revenue in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

· Manages accounts payable (AP) and cash disbursements via bill.com

· Oversee third party payroll processing team and reconcile journal entries to the general ledger

· Manage consolidation and identifies potential cost synergies for vendors upon acquisition of new facilities

· Compiles and analyzes weekly KPI reporting dashboards to the Management Team

· Plans, organizes and coordinates the monthly closing procedures and processes

· Performs financial analysis of balance sheets and income statements

· Assists in the month-end closing and financial reporting process including financial statement preparation, account analysis and reconciliation

· Assists in the management of the annual financial budget and updates forecasts based on the changing dynamics of the organization

· Coordinates the annual and interim financial statement audits with external auditors including preparation of all supporting schedules

· Responsible for ensuring all payroll taxes and fiduciary responsibilities are met

· Trains staff on internal control procedures

· Audits work-flow to assure that all accounting transactions are appropriately authorized

· Works on special projects, as requested, and assists others as needed

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Healthcare revenue recognition experience highly preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

· Paylocity experience preferred

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

· Comprehensive and working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Internal Revenue Code (IRC), organizational auditing, fixed asset accounting, and tax filing requirements

· 5+ years of experience preferred

· Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships

· Ability to analyze issues and suggest solutions, and see obstacles through to resolution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
