JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Organizes and maintains file systems and files correspondence and other records.
• Answers and screens telephone calls from customers and delivering messages while also using basic office equipment like faxes or scanners.
• Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to appropriate area or person.
• Assist with all aspects of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Weekly/Daily AP data entry, mailing checks, filing invoices.
• Weekly review, prepare and send Vendor Payable checks.
• Scan/file as needed.
• Daily online check deposits of Receivables.
• Bank Runs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed.

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Manager, or accountant.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and QuickBooks.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
