Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) is the Victorian Government body responsible for the delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival, Melbourne Airport Rail and the Western Rail Plan including fast rail between key regional cities and Melbourne. RPV is responsible for all aspects of the projects including planning and development of the project reference design, site investigations, stakeholder engagement, planning approvals and procurement, through to construction delivery and project commissioning. Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) comprises of Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Rail Projects Victoria (RPV, MTIA), North East Link Project (NELP), West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP) and Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV).
Rail Projects Victoria are the Victorian Government body responsible for the development and delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival, Melbourne Airport Rail and the Geelong Fast Rail.

About the Opportunity: What’s Involved?
During your time with our Finance & Administration team, you will be working alongside a team of Finance & Administration professionals. In this role you will be supporting financial forecasting, reporting activities and management accounting functions. You will also assist with the development of finance initiatives across various project teams and internal support groups, developing your industry knowledge in the process. You will play a key role in the administration of the financial control environment and have opportunities to make recommendations on improving processes and systems where possible.
About You
We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in kickstarting their career in finance. It would be preferred if you have strong written and verbal communication skills, display strong attention to detail and are someone who enjoys building positive working relationships. If you consider yourself to have a can-do attitude and are good at managing yourself in ambiguous situations, this could be the role for you!
To be eligible you must be currently studying and remain enrolled during the course of the IBL Program. You also must hold Working Rights in Australia that allow you to work full-time (38hrs/wk).
To comply with the Victorian Government’s Roadmap and CHO Directions, it is required that successful candidates submit a valid record of immunisation which identifies that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have a medical exception signed by a duly authorised medical practitioner. Any offer of employment will be made subject to the provision of proof of vaccination.
