Hutcheon Mearns are exclusively partnering with a renowned, privately owned Scottish business to recruit an ambitious finance professional into their Moray based finance team. Our client is looking to recruit an inquisitive and determined individual into the newly created role of Operations Finance Manager. Consideration will be given to driven individuals with a proven track record of achievement within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified CA, preferably from a practice background. Consideration will be given to individuals who can display valuable experience within a similar position Candidates must have a proactive attitude and display superior communication and interpersonal skills. Strong financial accounting skills and the ability to work across operations and finance is essential

Overview

• Support the business in the development of a monthly KPI framework to manage operational performance
• Maintain the standard costing system within the business, to include the annual revaluation process
• Lead the revenue analysis
• Ensure that Bills of Material and product routings are up to date and relevant
• Ensure that product costings are accurate
• Support the operational team in assessing business improvement, investment or cost-saving opportunities
• Assist with the setting of annual recovery rates for the following areas based on budget, and ensure that actual performance versus the budgeted rates is reported on a periodic
• Effectively communicate this information to Operations
• Support the senior operations team members with ad-hoc requests from Finance
• Taking ownership for implementing adequate procedures around the business to ensure the accurate valuation and existence of stock
