Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Job Type: 6 Month Temp

Hours: 37.5 per week

Job Location: Frimley

Salary: £20,000 per annum

As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll be responsible for managing the Payroll, Finance and Administration for the TSS business. You will also manage payroll and invoicing for UK and International Contractors in accordance with contractual agreements and oversee the team duties.

Key Accountabilities;

• To assist assimilation of tax data from countries where proposals are to be submitted and ensure compliance.
• To assist the assimilation of Labour Law and visa regulations from countries where proposals are to be submitted and ensure compliance.
• Source and liaise with 3rd party payroll companies and partners to ensure compliant and competitive submissions.
• Ensure all terms of business and contracts for services are up to date and compliant with legislation and at all times mirror the agreements in place with the clients to ensure no under-recovery of costs.
• Manage Accounting Month End process through recording unbilled revenues and necessary accruals
• Manage pension Auto- enrolment
• Manage Agency Workers regulations and ensure up to date with all new policies and laws.
• Manage the UK contracts for services to ensure updated annually with any new legal requirements by liaising with Lawyers / REC.
• Ensure accurate payments and invoicing of all contractors
• Manage debt including internal and external customers.
• Manage currency exchange and variations
• Manage Withholding tax on invoices and collection of certificates
• Management of Month End process for the P&L including unbilled and accruals.
• Petty cash and credit card reconciliation.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need strong coordination/administration skills with the ability to demonstrate a commitment to customer service.

In addition to the above you’ll also need to demonstrate the following;

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths/English
• Experience of using Excel to Advanced level
• Ability to work to deadlines taking into account different time zones and commit to 5 days a week on the office.
• Confident to phone clients and candidates to discuss payroll issues
• Good people skills and highly organised
• Experience in managing a UK payroll with full knowledge on HMRC regulations
