Shipping Department –Hours: 10:30am – 7pm (Monday – Friday)
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Picking, Packing, Warehouse experience
- Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as catalogs, price lists, inventory lists, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use or learn to use ERP sales/order applications and/or systems. SAP experience is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain SCHUNK fork truck license
- Ability to count, add, substract, divide, and multiply
- Previous exposure to working in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to use initiative to identify and solve customer and product delivery problems
Responsibilities
- Preparing toolholding, workholding automation, spare parts, and other products for shipment, using SCHUNK’s packaging procedures to the customer.
- Order picking, packing, and processing of small, medium packages and LTL freight.
- Receiving, putting up stock, and otherwise handling inventory.
- Maintaining records, files, and a clean and safe working environment.
- Verifying items received by comparing the purchase order and the packing list/invoice.
- Operating material handling equipment including pallet jacks, fork trucks and others as required to perform responsibilities.
