TALENT ACQUISITION CONSULTANT

Support business objectives by identifying and recruiting a wide variety of engineering, administrative, and IT resources located across North America, but primarily along the east and west coast. Learn how engineering resources contribute to business growth strategies. The talent relationship specialist will recruit for permanent, full-time and project-based resources, including independent contractors and entry-level professionals. The purpose of this position is to support the identification, hiring, and placement of resources to meet the needs of internal and client demand.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather requirements from hiring managers, team leads, and hiring teams to help identify viable candidates across North America.
  • Using our best-in-class ATS (applicant tracking system), Greenhouse, you will review and identify resources that are a good fit for our organization and clients.
  • Conduct and create candidate searches within third-party staffing and recruiting tools such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, and other sites.
  • Recruit and secure a wide variety of new resources from different backgrounds to support both core and unique opportunities within Valspec, Valpro, and Proconex.
  • Schedule interviews with HR and hiring teams, including executives.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidate resources to reduce the time and effort to identify viable candidates for opportunities as they arise.
  • Negotiate rates and terms with resources and hiring partners.
  • Provide support for Handshake college recruiting portal.
  • Maintain Greenhouse ATS database information and documentation.
  • Work with sales and marketing departments to qualify business opportunities.


REQUIREMENTS

  • A desire to gain experience in a technical recruiting environment.
  • The ability to analyze customer resourcing needs and identify candidates with the required skills and experience.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in dealing with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize across a growing volume of diverse activities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
