Description:
WHO YOU ARE:
The Assistant Buyer – International will assist the Senior and Junior buyer on all seasonal preparation functions, will maintain reports up to date and provide administrative support. The assistant buyer will have the opportunity to learn and develop their analytical skills to become a buyer by participating on most buying functions with the senior and assistant buyer. The role requires an individual with a strong knowledge of excel, must be organized and eager to learn and grow within this role.
Prepare, Organize, Maintain and Grow:

• Support buyers with their daily tasks
• Maintain and update all buying tools and reports. (Intl + USA)
• Prepare reports for buying analysis
• Follow up on deliveries
• Create and update collection boards
• Maintain product attributes list up to date
• Support preplanning and upload seasonal data in the buying system
• Help to prepare seasonal post-mortem
• Share weekly/bi-weekly Intl and US best sellers to collaborative teams
• Other requested projects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum 2 years of fashion buying experience in women’s apparel
• Fashion school college or university degree or related experience
• Interest in analytics and is detailed oriented
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
• Advanced MSOffice software knowledge (Primarily Excel)
• Result oriented and strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities
• Highly organized which leads you to work efficiently and, in a goal-oriented way and with a strong sense of business acumen
• You remain solution-oriented and flexible in our fast-paced environment, embracing change and seeking new opportunities in our agile work culture
• Good commercial awareness keeping a keen eye on the market, competition, current and forthcoming fashion trends
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Work well in a collaborative environment but can also be independent
