HR is an integral part of the business with full UK Group responsibilities under the Group HR Director. The department delivers expert support to stakeholders across core HR, payroll and talent acquisition.
With a UK HR team of approximately 28 across Chatham and Wolverhampton, the Talent Acquisition Team consists of 5 currently in Chatham and 2 in Wolverhampton, therefore, we are seeking to recruit a Team Manager to support and develop the Talent Acquisition Team in both locations.

What you will be doing:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support and lead a high performing talent acquisition team that are well respected within the business for delivering high calibre candidates for the many varied roles that are required to make this business the success it is.
Your responsibilities will include…
Line manage and coach all direct reports, including on all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, administration and recruitment
Manage the service levels to the business to proactively and continually improve what we deliver
Support initiatives to develop and improve policies, procedures and programmes
Assist the Group Head of Talent Acquisition with the design of talent acquisition strategies, specifically managing the implementation of all associated operational steps
Manage the delivery of social media recruitment strategies, utilising the likes of LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Twitter and other media forms to attract best in class candidates
Provide professional support and guidance to line managers and the Talent Acquisition Team at all stages of the recruitment process
In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience from £45,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

3 years previous experience of directly managing a high performing Talent Acquisition Team
2 years previous experience partnering with Executives and Senior Management establishing creative recruitment strategies to resource difficult to fill vacancies
Knowledge of employment law and also competency based interview techniques
CIPD Qualification
