IPAR Hiring for Finance Officer / Accounts Payable Job at Osborne Park Full Time

Currently seeking an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Team Leader-Accounts Payable. The candidate will undertake duties and responsibilities involved in the generation and payment of invoices, managing expenses, verifying and reconciling financial data and responding to stakeholders to resolve queries.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Accounts Payable

• Process Invoices and related transactions, including credit cards, in line with company and contractual requirements
• Manage end to end Payment Runs and checks
• Process staff and jobseeker reimbursements
• Provide support and advice to the business in relation to asset management
• Reconciliation of credit cards and bank statements

Accounts Receivable

• End to end AR as per the requirements of the group and associated divisions
• Processing Customer income as per divisional requirements

Finance

• Duties in relation to asset management eg insurance, motor vehicle management, rents & building maintenance etc
• Produce and distribute daily reports for income and cash to commercial accountant and Business Manager.
• Prepare various financial reports as directed and required by the Business, such as GST, Transactions and Data extraction.
• Provide Accounts system support and troubleshooting when required
• Assistance with online ordering systems such as COS, staff reimbursements, travel etc.

Qualifications

To be successful the applicant will have:

• Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Clerk role or similar role
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
• Prior experience within a full function bookkeeping process
• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent stakeholder support both internally and externally
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MYOB skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Diploma in business and accounting -desirable
• Experience / exposure to more complex finance activities
• Sage Intacct / Bridge/ ESS / Job Ready Live – desirable
• ESS – Finance Portal – desirable
• Westpac / NAB online banking – desirable
• Intellilink – desirable
