The Role
The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to enable the delivery of the talent acquisition strategy, by developing specific business unit talent acquisition plans that consider business needs for acquiring talent now and in the future. You will lead an indirect team to support hiring across a business while shifting the narrative around the best methods to attract, engage and acquire talent. This role will manage the relationship with the business and directly contribute the success and goals of our future ready workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key member of the talent acquisition leadership team, supporting and contributing to the overall TA strategy direction and outcomes.
- Lead a high performing, inclusive talent acquisition team to expertly handle hiring manager and candidates through IAG’s recruitment process with high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Design, communicate and execute talent acquisition strategies customised for key talent segments
- Manage the delivery of all recruitment related activities including organisational resourcing needs, recruitment analytics, insights, and vendor management.
- Produce, track and review metrics with a view to improving service, building capability and overall effectiveness.
- Be an advocate of our culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Activity coach and influence senior stakeholders in best practice talent acquisition, assessment and selection and diversity
- Collaborate with the wider PP&R team on key initiatives to introduce and support new ways working
- Act as a brand ambassador ensuring the business represent IAG using our People Value Proposition.
- Actively manage risk across all facets of talent acquisition and support TA governance
- Through this role’s leadership, culture initiatives, direction and link to our talent strategy enable a highly engaged and productive culture
Skills & Experience
- You will have a track record of success in a medium to large complex talent acquisition leadership role
- You will have proven ability to lead change and build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Be able to demonstrate how you have applied data and insights to design innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent
- Have a clear understanding of how to implement an exceptional candidate experience
- Proven ability to design and implement a strategy for talent segments
- Can articulate the latest trends in TA and how they can be applied
- Strong relationship management skills
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Background in technology would be advantageous
