PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Proposes schedules of classes and extra curricular activities.
2. Supervises the preparation of student schedules.
3. Works with administrators and faculty groups in compiling the annual budget requests.
4. Requisitions supplies and equipment, conducting inventories, maintaining records, and checking on receipts for such materials.
5. Cooperates in the conducting of safety inspections and safety drill activities.
6. Assumes responsibility for coordinating transportation, custodial, cafeteria and other support services.
7. Supervises the reporting and monitoring of student attendance, and works with the attendance supervisor for investigative follow-up actions. Monitors and reports student attendance to reduce truancy.
8. Assists in maintaining discipline through the student body, and deals with special cases as necessary.
9. Serves with parent, faculty and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives.
10. Coordinates faculty in-services.
11. Prepares and disseminates home/school communication reports.
12. Monitors and coordinates the supervision of students.
13. Supervises staff and students.
14. Participates positively in Guided Practice of the implementation of RTI, PBIS, and Character Education.
15. Performs such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as the principal may from time to time assign.
16. Conduct informational and planning meetings with faculty and staff to discuss student achievement.
17. Conduct data analysis meetings with faculty and staff to discuss student achievement.
18.Supervise and monitor building and district events, activities, and sports calendar.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve months a year. Salary as approved by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION: Performance of the job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s Policy on Evaluation of Administrative Personnel.
