Senior Software Tester – Lincoln (LN6)

How your experience will be utilised

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team where you will have the opportunity to utilise your existing skills and get involved in multiple complex projects across the company You will be expected to review business / software requirements and provide inputs to acceptance criteria and verification methods, prepare and review test plans, create test scripts and test data to execute and formally record tests (both manual and automated), report defects, risks & issues, and analyse test results by tracking software testing metrics.

We’re expecting that you’ve done this role before, so you’ll know how to do it whilst spinning multiple plates:

You should possess a minimum of ISTQB foundation level or have received similar training, with 3+ years’ experience of working in the software development life cycle and experience in Defence or the Cyber domain would be desirable. We are looking for someone with a good level of experience working with automation tools and frameworks, such as Test Complete, Python, Cucumber & Selenium, and a strong working knowledge of agile or waterfall methodologies.

• Due to the highly secure nature of the projects, you’ll be working on, you must be willing to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government SC security clearance
