Orange County Department of Education Hiring for Early Childhood Education Program Specialist at Costa Mesa, CA Full Time

The Orange County Department of Education is seeking a knowledgeable professional to serve as Program Specialist, Early Childhood Education. This position will support the day-to-day development, implementation, and management of Orange County’s Early Education Services. The individual will provide school personnel with trainings and skills to support early childhood education and will serve as a liaison and resource to school districts, child care providers, county offices of education, and community agencies.

Early Learning Services provides a wealth of research-based professional learning, coaching, technical assistance, and educational incentives for Orange County early learning and care programs, including public and private preschool, child care, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, and community partners serving young children.

Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Three (3) years of teaching experience in a publicly-funded early childhood education (birth-third grade) program.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major coursework in education or a related field.

Compensation:
Salary: $8,446 – $10,287 Monthly. Placement based on education and years of experience.
