Animal Logic Hiring for HR Assistant Job at Sydney Full Time

Are you an HR Assistant with an interest in film production?

This is a hands-on position that requires organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team, providing administrative assistance to the recruitment and operations areas of HR.

You’ll support local and international artists to relocate and on-board into a growing team, on a variety of animated films!

What you’ll do:

• Post job advertisements, maintaining the CMS (content management system)
• Coordinate interviews of candidates for hiring managers and recruiters
• Assist with reference checks and save documentation accordingly
• Coordinate on-boarding of new staff, including processing staff swipe cards
• Create and maintain personnel files in an accurate and structured manner
• Assist with the administration of new and revised policies and processes
• Carry out administrative responsibilities of the department
• Assist the HR team with HR projects and ad-hoc tasks

What you bring:

• 1-2 years of HR experience in an administrative capacity, or strong administrative experience
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with highly confidential information
• Excellent attention to detail including strong data entry skills
• The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader HR team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A highly organised approach to your work, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines
• Strong computer literacy, including Word and Excel proficiency
• Professional attitude at all times with confidential/sensitive information
• Experience in film, media or a creative industry would be a bonus
• A qualification in HR would also be a bonus
