The Opportunity

As part of our local growth, we have an exciting new vacancy for a Finance Business Partner to join our ANZ finance function. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing support to the wider ANZ business unit through production of monthly reports and analysis.

Reporting to the Head of Finance – ANZ, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for submitting the annual budget, reforecasts, and strategic plans in the Group reporting system (Hyperion) and produce the accompanying analysis presentations. The successful candidate will also be required to assist on ad hoc projects.

Main Responsibilities

The Challenge

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

• Submit local monthly sales and additional information to Hyperion and other Group systems in accordance with the Group timetables
• Produce monthly sales analysis for the Commercial managers
• Assist Head of Finance in coordinating monthly Balanced Scorecard reporting to local Management Team
• Provide monthly reports to department owners to assist with cost control monitoring and assist with identifying cost efficiencies, for both operating costs and capital expenditure items
• Compilation of annual budget, reforecasts and strategic plan for submission, including entering data into Hyperion Group system and production of accompanying presentation analysis
• Manage annual manufacturing cost calculations, including calculation of standard costs during the budget process and review variances on a monthly basis
• Liaise with Divisional Finance on ad hoc reporting requests
• Support the General Manager and Head of Finance in strategic planning and analysis
• Attend training programmes to ensure continuous professional development and ensure skills and techniques are continually developing

• Accounting Qualification (Or Equivalent)
• Knowledge of Hyperion Financial management and/or Hyperion Planning and Budgeting
• Relevant working experience in a business partner position within a manufacturing organisation is desirable
• Significant experience with financial analysis and reporting on KPI’s
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
• Understand key metrics that drive financial performance
