Head of Accounting and Finance

KessCo is a up and coming toy and game company located in West Los Angeles looking for a head of Accounting and Analysis. Reporting directly to the CFO, we need an energetic, driven, and intellectually curious team player who wants to work hard for a great company. We make toys and games so you must also like to have fun and jump in to help anytime.

Job Responsibilities – Your day to day will vary but will allow you to handle:

· Month end and Year end close including Financial Statement preparation and analysis

· Forecasting cash and profitability

· Cost Accounting

· Analyzing profit by product

· Budgeting

· Margin Analysis on new and existing product lines

· Bank reconciliations

· General Ledger management

· Financial statement preparation

· Accounts Payable

· Accounts Receivable

· Maintaining daily cash flow

Required Qualifications –

· Bachelor’s Degree. Accounting/Finance/Business preferred

· Consumer Products experience highly preferred

· 5+ years’ progressive work experience

· Clear understanding of financial accounting and cost accounting principles

· Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookup formulas, etc.)

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

· Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy while keeping to deadlines

· QuickBooks or equivalent experience

· High level of detail orientation and follow-up

· Experience in consumer products, retail, or distribution/sales preferred
