Health Education England Hiring for Education Programme Manager Job at Crawley, West Sussex, South East England, England Full Time

With an increase in doctors in training, we have an exciting new opportunity for an Education Programme Manager to manage the new Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS) Foundation School and support the expansion of training placements across KSS. Working in partnership with two established foundation schools in Thames Valley and Wessex you will develop best practice and enact the uncoupling of the foundation school covering South London and KSS.

This new and exciting opportunity will suit a highly motivated, creative and suitably experienced manager who will build excellent working relationships with colleagues across HEE and specifically trusts across KSS.

You will also have relevant project management skills and ability to build effective team working across the region.

The post holder must be able to travel to meet the requirements of the role, including limited travel across offices within the region.

Health Education England (HEE) oversees the delivery of workforce development and transformation opportunities alongside supporting multi-professional education and training.

You will be a key member of the KSS Foundation School team whose overarching goal is to deliver excellent education and training for doctors and dentists in training in the region. In this role you will be supported by administrative and clinical lead sessions.

You will work with colleagues in other regions in London and SE to establish the newly formed KSS Foundation School establishing consistent business practices, budget management whilst ensuring high quality professionalism and delivery of service.

The post are offered at Crawley office, however remote working will be the default position during the current COVID 19 Pandemic. This will be continually reviewed in line with HEE policy.

Based in KSS, the role will include regional and national travel on occasion and requires a motivated and organised individual who can implement, establish and progress Foundation training across KSS.

Salary Progression

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 6 with a full-time starting salary of £32,306, with pay step increases after 2 years’ service and 5 years’ service. These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
