Our Business

Global Investment Banking focuses on building long-term relationships with large corporations, financial institutions and financial sponsors. We have cultivated a ‘best in class’ reputation by providing strong advisory expertise and capitalizing on powerful M&A, debt and equity product expertise to deliver integrated financial solutions.

We require an additional Analyst headcount for our TMT team who have been working on numerous high profile transactions, including acting as advisor on the 70% divestment of Optus Tower for $1.7bn, the $15bn merger of TPG and Vodafone Australia, Uniti Wireless c.$700m takeover of Opticomm, Zip’s announced merger with Sezzle and Telstra’s acquisition of MedicalDirector.

Duties include

• Gather company data and operating information on companies
• Participate in the execution of equity and debt financing and M&A transactions
• Perform in-depth financial, valuation, product and industry analysis, and due diligence
• Prepare pitch books, client presentations and help create live deal materials
• Build financial / three-statement operating/ leveraged buyout models
• Help to generate ideas and opportunities for new and existing clients
• Learn from, and work with, teams consisting of professionals drawn from across the business, including senior bankers within your group, experts in other areas of the firm and colleagues from around the globe

Requirements

• Investment Banking experience or Big 4 accounting experience (corporate finance, transaction services or audit) ideally within the Natural Resources vertical
• Outstanding academic achievement
• Modelling experience and detailed market sector knowledge
• Detailed oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
• A bachelor’s degree plus 1+ years of investment banking, accounting or consulting experience
• Effective verbal and written communication
