Just landed in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa or local and want to work for a business where you will learn new skills, get exposure to new systems and ultimately look great on your resume? This industry is leading from the front and never seems to slow down and is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant for three months to focus on preparing the company’s statutory accounts. You will start asap and will see you through until the end of financial year or even beyond if you have full Australian working rights and are looking to secure a permanent opportunity.

Working from home and in their Sydney CBD office you will be an important part of the corporate finance team you will be responsible for preparing the statutory financial report, revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow management and month end close.

Ideally you will be formally qualified; either CA, CPA (or similar) and would have received premium training from working in a Chartered Big 4 or mid-tier firm. Alternately you could have some commercial experience working for a large company as a Financial Accountant at group level and had statutory accounting experience.
