Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary: The Software Development Engineer in Test is energetic and enjoys taking ownership of assigned projects and comfortable working independently or working in collaboration with other team members.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software test automation framework.
• Develop automation test scripts for hosted applications.
• Participate in test design reviews and code implementation.
• Responsible for configuring continuous integration across multiple test environments.
• Work closely with development and product teams to ensure adherence to business requirements.
• Work closely with internal/external customers during product integration and deployment.
• Accountable for the overall quality of the assigned software solutions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive object-oriented design & development experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration tools.
• Solid understanding of web application development.
• Strong problem solving and software debugging skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
• Experience in designing and developing QA automation framework.
• Minimum 5 years of development experience in Java, C++ or C#.
• Scripting experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Perl, PHP.
• Automation experience using Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, JUnit or TestNG.
• Previous experience with AWS Deployment and Management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Groovy, Gradle, Geb and Spock is preferred.
• Familiarity with various security/encryption schemes is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $1.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
