We are on the hunt for an exceptional candidate, to join our Charity as the new Training and Development Manager! Are you our next Training Specialist? Perhaps a Training Consultant looking to share your exceptional experience and skills with an amazing Charity! This role is being recruited on a part time basis of 3 days per week (24hrs per week)
We believe that access to good food is a right, not a privilege. Therefore we exist to make a tangible nutritional difference in people’s lives. We do this by serving School Food Plan and Food For Life compliant meals in 46 of Southampton’s schools and nurseries, while also serving hot nutritious meals into the homes of vulnerable and elderly adults.
Our £5m-turnover charity is supported by a team of approximately 250 employees, and a small volunteer team who specifically support some of our charitable initiatives. Together, we stand by our moto of #FoodForGood.
JOB PURPOSE:
To coordinate, grow and nurture our charity’s skills development programmes – both for internal team members and for the wider community benefit. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, to identify training needs and create solutions that improve skills, knowledge and engagement across the charity. To drive and meet strategic aims with our community benefit programme – Skills for Good – that offers employability opportunities and experiences within the catering and charitable sector for the Southampton and local community.
