HAYS Hiring for Java Analyst/Programmer Job at Brisbane Full Time

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Java Developer to an initial 12 month contract, with a start date being ASAP and opportunities for extension.

Your new role

In this role you will undertake analysis and design activities as well as develop technical design documents in line with business standards.

Day to day responsibilities will also include:

• Undertaking unit testing
• Developing and maintaining effective code
• Collaboratively working alongside fellow developers and the IT team
• Assisting in functional, load and user acceptance testing as required
• Review projects and provide recommendations for improvement
• Assisting in other tasks/activities as advised by Management

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in attaining this role you will have the following:

• Excellent front end development skills (Angular 10, Bootstrap, TypeScript)
• Experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate
• Rest APIs and Microservices
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team

What you’ll get in return
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of circa $100 – $110 + Superannuation (negotiable based on skills/experience), a Brisbane CBD Location and WFH Flexibility
