Trapeze Group Limited Hiring for Assistant Accountant – Receivable Job at Brisbane Full Time

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Finance Team, your role will provide assistance in the day-to-day accounting functions of the business and the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting with a particular focus on accounts receivable.

You will utilise your ambition, drive and self-motivation to make a difference to the Finance function of Trapeze Asia Pacific which incorporates companies across Australia, India, Singapore, Middle East and Africa.

• Analyze & Process accruals, prepayments and subsequent journals
• Conduct reconciliations which include general Ledger and Balance Sheet
• Partner to manage, bill and reconcile the Intercompany transactions
• Partner to help manage project reports and calculate Percentage of completion on projects
• Generate invoices and account statements for all clients
• Lead the client collection process to ensure accurate and on-time payments are received
• Lead FBT reconciliations and GST reconciliations
• Support the Accounts Payable and Payroll function as required
• Partner with the team members as needed on deliverables

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Commerce
• 2 years’ Financial Accounting experience
• Sound business acumen with an ability to learn, problem solve and contribute to driving improvements
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• A high level of attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong time management skills
